Clear Solutions Labs seeks to benefit from the Basel Area


The founders of Clear Solutions Laboratories are putting together a team of experts in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical science and analytical biochemistry in Basel. With its analytical services, the company intends to support the research of biotech and pharmaceutical firms based in the local area.

Clear Solutions Laboratories has opted to establish a presence in Basel. According to information from the company itself, the startup is pursuing the vision of achieving sustainable, organic growth in the Basel Area by assembling a “cross-functional team of world-class experts” in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical science, and analytical biochemistry.

The company offers specialized analytical services and research support to biotech and pharmaceutical companies in Basel, throughout Switzerland and across the world. In so doing, the aim is to reduce development times and the cost of medicines.

Perfect ecosystem for innovative endeavors

“By fostering a collaborative environment and attracting top talent, we are committed to driving innovation and advancing scientific frontiers in the vibrant Basel life science ecosystem”, as Clear Solutions Laboratories explains. For the future growth of the business, the company has found “extremely supportive and strong partners” in the shape of the investment and innovation promotion agency Basel Area Business & Innovation, in addition to Economic Development Basel-StadtImmobilien Basel-Stadt and the Swiss Biotech Association. Basel Area Business & Innovation has, for example, supported Clear Solutions Laboratories in searching for lab premises.

According to CEO Roman Mathaes, the decision in favor of Basel was made owing to its “rich scientific heritage, world-class research facilities, and unparalleled expertise in the field of life sciences”, which makes Basel the “perfect ecosystem for our innovative endeavors”.
