Service Design innovation for startups (EN) – powered by Innosuisse

Networking Event Series – Technology-Driven Entrepreneurship: Service Design innovation for startups

Design is what links creativity and innovation. It shapes ideas to become practical and attractive propositions for users or customers. Design may be described as: «creativity deployed to a specific end». Service design is all about making the services we use usable, easy and desirable. To do so, service design aims to discover deep insights about what users value and dislike about a service, how and why they use it, and therefore, how it can be improved. It leads to happier customers, more engaged employees, shorter innovation cycles and higher revenues. Focusing on value propositions as the main mechanisms of service innovation, service design holds tremendous potential for entrepreneurs. So far, the startup environment represents a relatively uncharted terrain for service design. Join the course and let us shed some light on the issue.
