DayOne Experts: Gender matters: FemTech on the rise (EN)

Addressing medical needs specific to women by making smart use of digital technologies and data science represents a huge opportunity for healthcare innovation. Unsurprisingly accelerators, entrepreneurs and their investors are beginning to populate the space under the label FemTech. According to a recent study by Galen Growth over the past five years, women’s health ventures have accumulated almost 4 billion dollars in funding. While most solutions of these startups are aiming at the more obvious women’s health issues such as fertility, pregnancy and maternity, the field of digital therapeutics tackling a more gender specific approach to diseases is still to be explored.

At this DayOne Expert Event, we will provide a broad view on the topic. You will hear form healthcare experts, researchers and entrepreneurs sharing their insights and presenting their ventures.

Participation is free, however registration is required before May 5, 2021.
