Exhibition Launch
Showcasing Services (Core Facilities) of the Department of Biomedical Engineering (DBE), University of Basel
To celebrate the launch of the their new exhibition in our Innovation lounge, Prof. Philippe Cattin, Head of Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Basel will introduce the DBE services (Core Facilities) that are open to the public.
The DBE, a key partner and resident of the Main Campus, plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between engineering and medicine, tackling a wide range of cutting-edge research topics. It offers the following services:
• a comprehensive one-stop solution for diverse additive manufacturing (3D printing) needs
• the most advanced motion analysis research center in Europe
• time-resolved picowatt measurements of metabolic activity (microcalorimetry)
• one of Central Europe’s best-equipped laboratories for micro- and nanotomography
Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to explore the new exhibits, engage directly with the Core Facilities leaders, and network with other members of the community.
