The Magnet: Connecting innovators in biotech and pharma

AI-driven drug discovery and development: balancing innovation and expectations

Fortunately, we are already fully booked. Please contact us if you wish to be included on the waiting list. We will send you a confirmation if a seat becomes available.

As excitement surrounding AI in drug discovery and development continues to grow, we are pleased to invite you to the inaugural edition of Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area’s new event series, The Magnet, where we will deep-dive into the hype versus reality.

For this first edition of The Magnet we will focus on a topic that is very much on the mind of many people driving innovation in the life sciences right now: how to set realistic expectations for AI’s role in facilitating drug discovery and development, including how to secure adequate investment, and avoid common pitfalls and misinformation associated with this technology.

With a panel of seasoned industry experts, we will explore key trends and operational challenges in leveraging AI in the lifecycle of drug development, including such things as data availability, integration into existing processes and organizational change. Attendees will gain valuable insights from those with lived experience of the issue that they will be able to make use of in their own organization.

Don’t miss this exciting discussion on such a hot topic and seize the opportunity to dive deeper into the discussion at the post-event networking apéro.

Participation at this event is free; however, registration is required before 19.11.2024.
